If you have a personal pension you have the right to buy an annuity from the best provider in the market place as rates and performance vary greatly from company to company. The difference between the best rates and the worst can be substantial.

Shortly before you retire, your provider will forward details of your fund and the annuity rate they will give. We recommend at this stage that you give us the opportunity to research the market on your behalf to obtain the best possible annuity rate. Taking the Open Market Option can in some cases lead to significantly higher retirement income.

We are also able to take account of factors such as your age, marital status and health to advise if alternatives to the traditional annuity are suitable for you and help you to achieve your financial objectives in retirement.
